Dear Friends,
Ambuja Neotia Group’s journey started more than two decades ago in Kolkata with a simple mission – to make a difference to the way people live – by creating homes that are more than just four walls – homes that are part of a neighbourhood, which encapsulates the essence of our society and ecology at large.
This simple thought was supported by the Government of West Bengal and thus was born Bengal Ambuja – one of the first joint sector companies in the state. This led to the creation of new benchmarks in Public-Private Partnerships and we tried to holistically serve the housing demands of all sections of the society. The enormous success of the maiden project Udayan on the EM Bypass inspired us to create many more.
Today, we have progressed beyond just housing… nurturing the domains of realty (residential, retail and commercial), hospitality (resorts, hotels, spas and restaurants), healthcare (superspecialty hospitals, fertility clinics) and education.
While venturing into commercial office space, we saw the need of a comfortable work-life balance for young professionals and created Ecospace Business Park, a gold rated green building.
In hospitality, our first major venture was 'Raichak on Ganges'. We set up a resort and country home complex on a sprawling 100 acres of land on the banks of the majestic Ganges.
We also championed the cause of healthcare by setting up the Bhagirathi Neotia Woman & Child Care Centre in Kolkata and a multi-specialty hospital at Siliguri. With a humble desire to contribute to the advancement of education in Bengal, we have recently set up The Neotia University.
Above all, we want to be a responsible, progressive & sensitive corporate citizen. My family and our business have always been deeply involved in philanthropy. We will strive to put in sincere and continuous efforts to contribute to the economic, social and human development of our nation.
